(Luke 14:1-24) – Jesus knows all about what it means to attend and host a great banquet. And He reminds us not to settle for the so called ‘banquet’ that this world offers, when God is preparing a ‘kingdom feast’ that is beyond comparison! The invitation has gone out…. The question for us is, ‘Will we be attending?’
(Luke 13:22-30) – Often, people are bothered by Jesus’ unique claims to be the only ‘way’ of salvation. They think this means that God is trying keep people out of heaven. But, nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus explains that the door is narrow – not because God is keeping people out, but because people won’t enter in!
(Luke 13:18-21) – We’ll also learn from scripture, how God specializes in using what seems like insignificant spiritual ‘inroads’ to bring about serious influence and expansion for His Kingdom. Like a mustard seed, or a pinch of leaven, all God needs is an ‘entry point’ to bring change to our lives…our community…and our world!
(Luke 13:10-17) – If broken human beings can’t find rest and restoration in our worship gatherings, where else can they? Scripture teaches us that Jesus want to do wonderful things in the ‘Sabbath’ assemblies of His people!
