2025 Bible Reading PlansHave you thought of your Bible reading plan for 2025? Here are a few different plans if you don't already have one: 1. A 5x5x5 New Testament Bible Reading Plan 5 days a week 5 minutes a day 5 ways to dig deeper This reading plan will take you through all 260 chapters of the New Testament, one chapter per day. The Gospels are read throughout the year to weave in the story of Christ all year long. 2. 90 Day Bible Reading Plan About 30 minutes a day If you have never read through the Bible before, this is a good option. Rapidly reading through the Bible helps to keep all the context fresh in your mind. When you take a long time (a year or two), to read the entire Bible you get the benefit of being able to dig deeper into the text, but if you don’t have the big picture down you might get lost in the weeds or miss the forest in the trees. Reading the whole Bible in 90 days can help you get the big picture and once you have the big picture it can be good to dive deeper and checkout a slower paced reading plan.
3. One Year Bible Reading Plan (the one we have used in past years) A section of scripture every day of the week The plan divides the Bible into seven general types of readings (The Law, History, Psalms, Poetry, Prophecy, Gospels, and Epistles). Each day of the week is a different type of reading. Some are longer and others are shorter. Some are stories and some are more in-depth readings. All plans are available at the connect table in the lobby or on our webpage! For more infomation visit: https://journeychurchtacoma.org/news/soap-bible-study-method

Church Wide Scripture Study
The Big Idea: Journey is offering a one-year Bible-reading program to the entire Journey family. Basically, this is an opportunity to get rooted in God's Word as a church family. This is also a chance for us to "stir up one another to love and good works" (Heb. 10:24). Here's how it works: |
