Following Jesus – Making Disciples – Changing the World

“You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – (Acts 1:8)     Living on mission with Jesus goes beyond reaching our city.  It also extends to the region in which we live.  At Journey, we work in partnership with other churches and believers in our region to achieve a greater and wider impact than any of us could do alone.  Here’s how:

  • Regional Youth Camp – We aim to equip and encourage every believer to share Jesus in both word and deed with the people in their natural spheres of influence. In terms of mission, this is our first priority. We want to see every follower of Jesus find their God-given place in his great mission of seeking and saving the lost. We believe this will happen most effectively when we learn to love, serve and share intentionally with the friends, neighbors, co-workers and colleagues that God has already placed in our lives. Toward this end, we train believers to be able to share “The Basics of the Faith.”
  • The Alliance Northwest – Not only do our Community Groups provide a place for believers to connect and grow in their faith, they also function as Kingdom “beachheads” and “outposts” through which the light and love of Jesus can be organically shared with people who might never attend our Sunday services. That’s why we look to establish an expanding network of groups that meet in homes, apartments, neighborhoods and coffee shops all over the “253”. See a current list of our Community Groups.
